Mr. Kenneth Vestal Lane, age 72 of Fairview, TN. passed away on August 7, 2021 at St. Thomas Hospital West, Nashville, TN. with his loving family by his side.
Kenny was born on December 22, 1948 in Memphis, TN. to Verl Vestal Lane and Sarah Lourine Langdon. He was a retired fire chief for the Brentwood Fire Department. He loved spending time with his family and taking cruises with the love of his life Marilyn.
Survivors include his wife; Marilyn Perkins Lane, sons; Grant (Tiffany) Lane and Garrett (LeAnna) Lane, grandchildren; Bailey, Ciara and Nathaniel, brother; Kevin (Barbara) Lane, sister; Sandy Lane, niece; Hannah.
Visitation with the family was held on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm with Memorial Service following at 6:00 pm.

Plant a tree: How does it work
When your purchase is complete, a post will be made on the tribute wall of the deceased signifying the planting of a memorial tree.
An official certificate recognizing your purchase will be included with your email receipt. You can then forward the email to the family or print it and give it to them personally.
After an order is placed, our forestry partners will plant the tree in the area of greatest need (nearest the funeral home), according to the planting schedule for the year.
Due to seasonal conditions, the tree planting takes place during the spring and summer.

Orders placed in:
January - May
Planting will take place in Spring or Summer of the same year.
June - December
Planting will take place in Spring of the following year.
