Dorothy Lee Bumpus, age 95, of Gallatin, TN, died Tuesday, June 15, 2021 at Alive Hospice in Nashville, TN. Mrs. Bumpus was born February 22, 1926 in Fairview, TN.

Survivors include her sons, Jerry Bumpus of Clinton, TN, Ronald Bumpus (Lorrain) of Columbia, AL, Phillip Bumpus (Bertha) of Castalian Springs, TN; daughters, Sandra Broyles (Jim) of Gallatin, TN, Rebecca Hamner of Gallatin, TN; brother Neal Lankford of White House, TN; sisters, Sarah Reding of Rivergate, TN, Julia Swindell of TN, Elaine Williams of Clarksville, TN; 13 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her parents, Giffee & Dora Orena Adcock Lankford, husband Hugh Jennings Bumpus; siblings: Hilda Cripps, Sterling Lankford, Clymith Buford Lankford, Frances L. Nolen, Elise Walker, Wilma Jean Stephenson, Sandra K. Floyd, Wanda Clark.

Visitation was held from 10 a.m. until time-of-service Sunday, June 20, at the Humphreys County Funeral Home.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Bumpus was held at 12 p.m. Sunday, June 20, from the Chapel of the Humphreys County Funeral Home with Bro. Alex Bode officiating. Internment followed in the Ebenezer Cemetery
