Dennis Joe Lampley, age 70 of Franklin, formerly of Fairview, died January 25, 2022. He was the son of the late Joe and Hazel Davidson Lampley.
He was a graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He was retired as an environmental manager with the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation.
He is survived by wife of 24 years, Margaret Irene Tidwell Lampley; daughters, Jenny Womble of Dickson and Katie (Cory) Mays of Centerville; stepsons, Neal (Anne), Chris and Jon Rigsby; brothers, Don (Kathy), Dearl (Jane), Dwain (Kellie) and Danny (Andrea) Lampley; he leaves behind 7 grandchildren.
His wishes were to be cremated. No service is planned at this time.
