Cilicia Irvine Daugherty Cunningham, age 89, of Fairview, TN passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021. She loved her family and was always willing to do anything to help others. She was a lifelong member of the Fairview Church of Christ. Irvine was an active member of the Fairview Family and Community Education club for 38 years including serving as treasurer for 18 years. She retired from the City of Fairview after 28 years of service as the water plant operator and was the first female in the state of Tennessee to be certified in water distribution. Many will remember her as a great cook, eager community volunteer and helpful caring neighbor.

Preceded in death by parents, Leonard and Bessie Daugherty; sisters, Mildred Daugherty, Eva Daugherty, Claudine Daugherty, Lucille Mangrum, and Charlene Deal; daughter-in-law, Martie Cunningham; son, Ferlin Cunningham (Kim); and granddaughter, Becci Adcox.

Survived by sister, Wilma Daugherty; brother, Cecil Daugherty (Sharlene); sons, William Cunningham and Donald Cunningham (Maryanne); grandchildrens, Bill Trondle (Helen), Mathew Cunningham (Kelly), Caleb Cunningham (Ronnelle), Hannah Cunningham, Aden Cunningham, and Lloyd Cunningham; seventeen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was Friday, March 12, at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home.
