Primm Springs, Tennessee - Beulah McCord Binkley was born on July 5, 1930 at in Primm Springs, Tennessee and passed away at her home in Primm Springs on November 26, 2022 at the age of 92.

She was the daughter of the late Alec Kinsey "A.K." McCord and Louise Moss McCord. She was also preceded in death by her daughter Melissa Ann Moss and her siblings Albert McCord, WT McCord, Lona Page, Etta McCord, Iner B Sullivan, Lorene Stevens, and two siblings that passed away at birth.

She is survived by her children Michael David Binkley (Rita) of Fairview, Mark Dewayne Binkley (Kat) of Linden, Maurice Lynn Binkley (Selene) of Bon Aqua, and Mary Darlene Claiborne (Tony) of Franklin; 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; her beloved dog Lucy; along with a host of other relatives, friends, and loved ones.

Ms. Binkley grew up in Primm Springs. She became mother to five children. After having her children she obtained her GED at the Pinewood School by taking classes from Charles Pageant. She worked for many years as a seamstress at Werthan Bag, at Genesco, and for Holley Carburetor.

She most recently attended the Liberty Lincoln Church of Christ. In her younger years she attended the Parham Church of Christ which her father had helped to build.

Upon her retirement, she began quilting and crocheting. She had a hand in making over 600 quilts, most of which were given to family and friends. She also made many many crochet pieces, such as afghans and dresses for her grandchildren.

She loved to Garden and kept one until the past few years. She raised just about everything. She even grew rhubarb and made rhubarb pie. She really enjoyed crappie fishing and had her own little 5 horse power 12 foot boat she would take on Kentucky Lake. There are many cherished memories that have been made fishing with her by her children and grandchildren. Beulah also went "Junkin" with her granddaughter, although she preferred to call it "Antiquin".

She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
