Fairview - AJ was born in Nashville, TN, on June 12, 1943 and departed this life on January 18, 2023 in Fairview, TN.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Beatrice Shelton. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, William and Ada McCutchen and wife, Regina Shelton.

Survivors include his wife, Alice Shelton, daughters, Amber (Lee) Davis and Ashley (Derek) Owen, grandchildren, Encara, Kias and Leahness Davis, Ashton and Palmer Owen. Also, by a host of family and friends.

Adrian retired from UPS after 30 years and totaled over 3 million miles!

He was a jack of all trades: Carpentry, gem hunting, scuba diving, fishing, riding horses, and going to the gym. He took many trips to the beach and toured these beautiful United States on his Harley. But home is where he loved most of all.

He was best known for loving to laugh and joke with everyone he knew and didn't know for the matter. He never met a stranger and was as good a listener as he was a talker. He was also very tender hearted. He accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior and was a baptized believer.

There will be a visitation Saturday, January 21, 2023 from 11:00 am until the Celebration of Life 2:00 pm all held at Harpeth Hills Funeral Home, 9090 Highway 100, Nashville, TN 37221.
